In a unique and rare event, Troop 8 participated in the unveiling and dedication of the Mississippi Monument at Shiloh National Military Park in Shiloh, Tennessee. On September 18-20, Troop8 journeyed to Camp Hood for an activity-filled weekend. A group of scouts cleared brush in service to Camp Hood, and another group worked on their Cooking and Orienteering Merit Badges.
