Wilderness survival camp-out is this weekend, January 28 – 30. Scouts are to meet at First Baptist Church parking lot at 4:30 pm January 28, and will return January 30 at no0n. A map is attached as follows: map to campout.
Troop 8 will be conducting its annual Wilderness Survival Campout January 28 – 30.
Help support Scouting and Troop 8 by purchasing popcorn at one of our “Show & Sell” locations. Troop 8 will be selling popcorn:
September 25 (8am – noon) at Kroger at Dogwood Festival in Flowood
October 2 (8am – noon) at Kroger on Hwy 51 in Madison
October 23 (8am – noon) at Walmart on Hwy 25/Lakeland Drive in Flowood
If you are unable to stopy by one of these locations at the designated time, feel free to contact Troop 8 to purchase popcorn. If you are a member of Troop 8 and would like to help sell popcorn at one of the locations, please contact Mr. Walley.

Eagle Scout Robert Parkin Receives National Scholarship
Posted: July 19, 2010 by troop8fbcj in UncategorizedEagle Scout Robert Parkin (2007) has earned one of eighty-four $1,000 Hall/McElwain Merit Scholarships awarded nationwide by the National Eagle Scout Association for 2010. There were over 3,000 scholarship applications submitted for this year. Congratulations, Robert!
