News from Yesterday

“TROOP EIGHT TO HOLD ANNIVERSARY”

“Troop 8 of the Boy Scout organization of this city will celebrate their first anniversary at the First Baptist Church on Friday evening at 7:30 o’clock. They invite all their mothers and fathers to be present at the meeting which they state will be a Jolly one. The troop will render a program that will be thrilling and interesting to all who attend. The item that pleases the boys most is that the Acme Bakery has asked the privilege of furnishing the birthday cake for the boys and they look forward to the cutting of it with great pleasure.”
